Road bikes to rent for 94.7 Ride Joburg

Hi, my two sons aged 16 & 18 are serious mountain bikers (both top 10 in SA in their respective age groups). They would love to ride the 94.7 Ride Joburg but we don't own road bikes. They are both 1.8m tall.

 

Any places I can rent bikes or are there hubbers that can assist?

Semi-slicks (or gravel tyres) on their MTBs are probably the easiest way forward for you.

They can just do it on mountain bikes.? 🤘🏻 I think lots of okes do it on hard rails and duel sus

Are they planning to race it in their respective licensed age categories or just ride for fun? If for fun, just let them do it on their MTB's, racing, then hire some road bikes.

They want to race, thus need proper road bikes. Bikemarket etc. don't have any availability
