Can somebody confirm whether this website for SIDI South African is legitimate. The address is www.sidisouthafrica.co.za - but changes to www.sidisouthafricaza.top once you type in the URL.

Everything looked legitimate and I paid for a pair of shoes but then a confirmation email arrived with too many suspicious errors. I have a nasty feeling that I have been scammed - luckily used a virtual credit card and blocked that card already

Looks like a scam. The official SA Sidi site is: https://sidi.co.za/

I hope you didn’t pay Sidi prices for your shoes. You can likely however, do a chargeback on your card depending on how easy your bank makes it.

I can confirm it is a scam - just checked with the bank and the company is registered in Hong Kong. It is scary that the site looks just like the international site - I even switched between the two to check on a spec for the shoes

With AI it’s very difficult to tell the difference since spelling errors and language are pretty much eradicated now but as they say in Singapore:
