Did the 60km yesterday.

Awesome, totally awesome!

Great venue, nice roads, very well organised. Not as flat as promised, and the headwind at the start of each lap was quite annoying, apparently @Attie Koekemoer forgot to arrage with  Higher HQ about the wind...

Hopefully there will be more of this, it ticked all the right boxes.

Definitely recommended!

Must agree with @Scary Rider, did the 90 ... had an absolute blast (even straight through the couple of mud patches, thanks to the tip from @'Kaze Pete 👍)

Had to rush off to a family braai after, missed out on the after festivities but next time!

Those poeletjies...thought that I'd have to rename my bike from Donkie to Splashy...😃

Those poeletjes.. I had mud in my mudcrack 🙄
Had to pressure wash my clothes to get the mud out.
All might sound very melodramatic, but it was a fun day out there.
Cannot wait for next year!

The winners did some insane overall speeds. We can only wish we were young (again)

Here is one of those poeletjies, the weekend before, acting all innocent with all the pretty blommetjies hanging around

And the mess the poeletjies made, which needed some cleaning up. Luckily Twitch behaved herself and never became squirrelly

What bike did you ride? You could maybe consider one of the singlespeeds?

Skuus Oom Bennie, I just thought since the elevation was far less than the rest of the Koepel and because we know how singlespeed bedonnerd you are (it takes one to know one 🫣) that it is worth a try.

A seed is planted though ... maybe this one?
