Thanks Look at the last post (#296 )in this thread, there's a contact person and phone number of which apparently does battery replacements.

Kobus, in Pretoria: 082 339 5852. Does it in his spare time, seems to do quite a LOT of Garmin repairs, and happy with how he fixed mine, but buyer-beware, and all that stuff. Cheers Chris
