What's a good smart watch for everyday use and fitness?

+1 for Garmin Instinct. No frills, does all the basics well and has outstanding battery life.

I have the Garmin Instinct 3 Solar Tactical with Applied Ballistics, because my other sport is actually competitive shooting. Love the watch, was a very nice X-mas gift from @snapshot. It's been a game changer in how I approach many things. Love the 'Tactical' activity feature, I use it when we shoot a IPSC match, and I was surprised to see where my heartrate goes when shooting. So yes, a huge +1 for the Garmin Instinct range.

I have the Instinct 2 Solar. Been many years of solid, no frills performance, with great battery life.

So. . . . If you are looking at a very budget Smart watch...I am trying out the CMF Watch Pro 2 by Nothing. Pleasantly surprised that it works in all aspects.  GPS works, HR works, Bluetooth calls etc etc. And for like R1k, I cannot complain.
