I’ve done a significant amount of googling and research but I still can’t seem to get this right, so either it’s no longer possible or the secret is more secret than I thought…

Can we still take Wahoo FIT files and somehow get them to count for Vitality points? I have a Garmin watch that does, but all the published methods and services I’ve found to change the FIT files don’t work once I manually import into Garmin Connect…

I must be honest I've not seen any solution that works besides their 'supported' devices ....

Even on the odd occasion I do ride indoors with MyWhoosh I record the ride on a Garmin Edge (one could use any supported device I guess) as well then because I like my Strava stats to be correct I delete it and keep the MyWhoosh one. Ja ja I'm just crazy like that ... must be quite a lot of people using this as a solution and yes I see you double recorders 🤪

Did you try fitfiletools? https://www.fitfiletools.com/changer

Yep, this DOES change the device in the fit file but doesn’t fool the Vitality system. I’ve tried several of these tools, even a Python script that uses your device’s serial number, but none of them seem to work - though I I don’t discount that it might just be me doing something wrong.

would just be nice not to have to double record!
