Phedra cut comes in 2 veriations. the new one contains no ephidrine but something very close. The old one, which is only available if you know somebody who knows somebody works much better but contains Ephidrine HCL. The new XC phedrcut contains plenty of Caffien which is off the band list now.

Both of these are ok for out of comp testing but will be positive if you tested during racing. Hydroxycut make a good product that works. This is what Albie from USN tried to copy when he made Phedra cuts. The problem is these are also banned.

The best for weight loss in this type of combination (ECA) is to get hold of T3 or another product called Heat. They both contain ephidrine, Asprin and Caffien so will both show positive during competition.

Another option is Duramine which contains a substance called phentermine. Its an anphetamine type appettite suppresent that cannot be tested for here in SA yet. It is expensive but works much better and you get no goose bumps or shakes. Added advantage of using this during racing is that it has no caffien. Caffien will dehydrate you quickly.

As far as creatine is concerned, its a total waste of money. The only 'muscle building' effect it has is water retention with a slight nitrogen increase. The increase in Nitrogen is an anabloic effect but is so minimal that the weight gain negates the positive effect it gives. Basicaly, creatine is not worth anything and as such is not used by prioffesional athletes anymore.

Yup, I have heard that the new XC does not contain Ephidrine.

Even the new "2008 version"?  I have a certificate from USN stating that it does not contain any banned substances.

Load of BS?

Eat less' date=' ride more, lose weight. If you're super serious and podium finishes are your goal, then you can fine-tune supplementation with a sports nutrition expert. Calcium is about the only supplement all cyclists should take all the time as cycling's one negative effect is diminished bone density. My Flying Buddy owns the company contracted to manufacture and package most of USN's products. I can get a certificate from him to show you USN  hardly contains any substances, even those listed on the label that you are paying so much for.Wink

Best Advice! Clap

Bestest advice, do all three and go see a dietician. You can even get medical aid to pay, they don't pay for all the other k@k you try.
