If you are looking for comfort - then a soft tail will really be good.

You will be able to all the rides with a hard tail.

As far as components go - I would say lx or xt.

Size - u will have to feel the fit on the bike. If it feels right - it will work for you.

There are 2nd hand bargins out there - but finding the size that fits you best is the problem. With a new bike, you can try different size frames of the same model.

Brands are probably all good, have a look at the warranty you get (which I think will only apply to new bikes)

I am interested to buy FS at decent price.

I would highly recommend for anyone starting to ride MTB to start on a hard tail, especially if you are wanting to ride a bit more of the technical stuff.

You will also get a better bike for the same price and once you learn to ride you will learn more about what equipment is available and what kind of riding you really want to do so when you upgrade you can buy the right bike for your particular rides.

Commencial = Commenzal....

Commencal

it's Portugese..

The "C" has that strange squiggle at the bottom. the english equivalent is the letter "Z".

They use a "C" on the website cos it's easier for our yankee friends..

;)

Hmmm, COMMENCAL comes from Andorra, which is situated at the top of pyreneas between France and Spain. The name COMMENCAL comes from the founder/Managing director's surname Max COMMENCAL. It is actually spelled Commen?al. Wink

Hey Zeepee, Gee atherton is the current World Champ. He rides COMMENCAL. Greg won one of the world cup races. Incidently his sister Rachel Atherton is also the current ladies World Champ. Check out a pic of Rachel on the finish line. First time ever that a brother and sister are world champ at the same time.

Press release :

Rachel and Gee Atherton bring home Britain's first ever World Championship Gold medals<?: PREFIX = O />

We still have some 07 bikes on special, so if you want to have a look, I can direct you to one of our dealers.
