Just been surfing some retro BMX pics and was reminded of that foam that you used to put on the top tupe. It came in handy a couple of times.

Would your arch rival have been Michael Fikket by any chance?

 

Appreciate it if you could find the GT for me. I have a lead on a Profile in great condition.

 

I reckon the place to go and look for the stuff is in and around Soweto, Tembisa etc, i reckon there would be someone old school stuff being ridden by guys there.

Wasn't there an ad in one of the local mags recently saying SE will be selling here in SA in 2009?

 

I allways lusted after a PK Ripper or the alloy version of the Quadrangle but I could never collect enough refundable bottles!!!

I'm really in the mood for a BMX now. I'm thinking maybe a 24" - what you guys think? Good idea bad idea? I don't want to do competitive racing or anything, just for fcking around with, maybe throw it around Logwood or something. There's also going to be a BMX track at the Bryanston Bike Park right next to my place, so I'll be able to put it to good use.

 

My fiancee doesn't agree with me though, so I'm thinking I'll have to ask for forgiveness instead of permission
