Specialized Rib Cages.

What are the Hubbers opinions about these cages?

 

Do they hold bottles tightly?

 

Break easily? etc...

Mine does not look like those. Mine has a rubber that can expand to take bigger bottles. Very nice and secure.

never lost a bottle with mine.. Also got the mtb version.. I can't even take the bottle out once its in.. very secure

I have the older carbon look 1 and the bottle just falls through the bottom....

I also still have the old school ones, but those do look nice, might put the old ones on the Mtb and new ones on the Roas bike.

The carbon ones are exactly the same as the other ones.

Prefer the older version with the rubber thingie though.

Never lost a bottle with them, but the area where the bolt fastened onto cracked and broke over time (two of them).

I've got them on both my road and MTB bikes and they work like a charm.

I've also got them on both my road and my mtb and am very happy!

 

They don't break.  When I first bought one the shop assistant stood on it to prove how flexible they are.
