aah, the very best of late 80's excess... makes me cringe seeing what was hip styling wise. This thing probably came in 'lipstick' red as new, complete with white leather interior and lots of chrome trim

 

loved by Germans and oil rich Arabs everywhere, from the autobahns of Munchen to the mirage in the desert that is Riyadh - all visiting Park Lane, London, for the summer, complete with continental number plate....

I had a school friend who repainted his "fifty' (a Suzuki GT50) a different colour with a brush and enamel paint every time he came a cropper. Needless to say, he had a "new" bike almost every week.
