Johan Bornman Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Life is too short to worry what type of headset you should get. Buy whatever your LBS has in stock and fit that. Then go for a ride and smell the Jasmine. Modern headsets with the Wilderness Trail Bike (WTB) patent (all of them use this now) don't fail through false brinelling wear like older headsets so technically you dont have to agonise over roller bearing vs ball bearing anymore. Brand bunnies still worry about labels and colour though.....
