Wheelsuck Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Bell Sweep, Got a Spiuk Nexion, has a net inside and if you take it out the attchments inside the helmet rubs against your scalp irritates the living $h!t out of me.My Spiuk helmet is for Sale now.  Â

Matchstix Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 The main thing for me is fit. The only thing that will fit my head is the bell sweep. I am due for a new helmet as well. Ia m however going to wai a bit more for the new bell volt. I hoe it fits. Value for money the scott helmets are awsome if they will fit you. Willehond Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 I read a nice helmet review in a Dutch mtb magazine last night that compared all these helmets and said they were all good, but one of them edged the competition. Specialized! At 225g with great fit and excellent ventilation it won narrowly. The others all got good marks though. Giro and Bell Sweep were also said to be well ventilated and with a good fit, but slightly heavier near 300g. That is quite a large percentage difference! Bell does have the advantage that you can adjust the fit on the bike with one hand with the wheel tensioner. For Giro and Specialized you need two hands! Can't remember the rest...
