Tubular tyre pressures

I have just got my first set of tubbies and the manufacturers range is 8-14 bar pressure which is very wide. What sort of pressure should i be using?

how much do you weigh because i weigh 64kg and i ride on 10 bars there is less rolling resistance but if yuou looking for comfort on that tubbie look at about 9 bars

 

 

 

also if it feels squidgy then pump it up harder you dont want it to roll and also dont be scared of the glue but also dont put enough on so that the glue helps it fall offturtlek2008-09-17 02:55:22

caadman it really comes down to how safe you feel while riding on the pressure so ride a few different ones and see which one feels good to you

I use around 9 bar - they can handle a lot more, but 9 bar feels nicer to me in terms of ride quality - less bumpy.
