The hacker I built while I was getting over my hernia op in May - 1000k's since the 20/5/2008. Bloody heavy (14kg's) but great for training!

I have managed to 'procure' this spastic plastic frame and have moved all the stuff from the S-works onto it tonight, will be my new hardtail racer. The stuff off the Scott will move to the S-works and that will become the hacker ......

Yes that is the FD shifter cable hanging there. There are still 1 or 2 or so things to do before it will be rideable ......

Shift setting, setup seat height/position. Check rear brake caliper is set lekker. Adjust headset.

Ran out of time tonight ................. hopefully finish tomorrow afternoon and maiden voyage Saturday, if not then definitely Sunday!

Legend you right it is without any doubt the best hardtail I have ever ridden. That's why I will keep it for sure. The Scott has some good kit on to use for the S-works. Will look at getting a better fork than the Tora some time for it.

Thanks, I'll leave the avatar though - lets see ......

2 Specialized roadbikes

2 Specialized MTB's (I still got my trusty Epic)

1 Merida MTB

1 Scott RB setup for TT

That excludes LBB's Specialized road and MTB's so yip still pretty much a Spez guy/family.

Have essentially just replaced my Scott Yecora with the Merida .........
