Think Bike (http://www.thinkbike.co.za) are having a national commute on

your scoot day tomorrow (the 3rd October) with stops a coffee shops

around the country.

I can't make the coffee, but will ride to work on my pedal bike (I normally

ride a motorbike, anyway).

What other Hubbers are going to do so?

My commute is 17kms from Parkview to Rivonia!

I too scoot to work daily and since a shower has recently been installed at the office I think I'll cycle too.

Don't know if the shower would be needed though. It's only 5km and it's downhill. Parktown to Greenside.

Maybe I should go on the MTB and then do a loop of the spruit. Or better yet! Road bike, do laps around the traffic circle at Vida Cafe in Greenside until they open and then have coffee!

Genius!

Me! I try to ride in and out every day, but I haven't been able to ride home the last 2 days because I only got out of the office late Unhappy

Hoping I can leave normal time today.

I'm thinking of riding in tomorrow. Of course, my route is the direct opposite of that. Parkview to Parktown - a short 3km of uphill with no shower at the end Dead

I had a shower while driving into work today.  Will this bloody rain ever end?

What rain? You obviously aren't in Joeyies. I can guess where you are... Wink

I'd really like to but not sure if the life assurance pays out to my family on death from dangerous sports.

13kms Bedfordview to the Wadeville badlands via Germiston - the jewel of the East.

I'll lend you a 9mm and my bullet proof. Then you'll only

need to worry about the traffic... Cry

Stellenbosch - where the grass is greener. Mainly because it won't stop raining. Tongue

I ride in once or twice a week anyways, so will get involved tomorrow.

16kms from Illovo to Rivonia (along the spruit).

jmaccelari do you head in to work via the spruit too?

Nope - I do the pavement hopping thing along Wm Nicoll as it's fastest.

Maybe we should meet at the spruit somewhere? Would be nice to break

the rat race habit...

Hey jmac

Meeting some guys from work at Kopdood Cafe Nescafe, Checkers square, Naivasha rd, Sunninghill at 07h30 (feel free to join) for a cuppa, so we can meet at the William Nicol entrance of the Spruit at say 07h00.

If this doesn't suite, no worries.

I cycle to work everyday and then cycle all day for a living. We don't have any coffee shops out here though!

I live about 400m from one of the coffee stations. This'll be the most awesome training ride ever.

Hmmm - I only get back from my morning ride at 06:40, so won't be able to

get there by 07:00.

Enjoy the ride & coffee!
