Need help on Leggera

I'm currently looking at a 2005 full carbon frame Leggera with a 105 groupset  (9 speed) on it. The guy is wanting R9000 (negotiable).

 

Can anyone give me some info on these bikes, and what a decent price would be?

 

I think R9000 is a bit steep for a 2nd hand with 105. My 2c's.

i have a giant tcr, with 105 and ultegra rear deraileur, frame is 50" and has HED Alp deep section wheels,ill give it to you for less than 9... make me an offer

Those Leggera frames retailed at about R10 000.00. 9 speed 105 outdated. I'l say R6000.00 is what he will get for it. Great bikes though and it is owned by Teschner.

The moulds for the frame were the same as for the Fondriest Domino Plus.  Which was super stiff.  Not the lightest as the name suggests( Leggerra is Italian for feather).

 

Good frames though.  But I'd say between R5000 and R5500 is what he can expect and even then it is Negotiable

I think I will offer him half the price he is asking and then negotiate from there.

I have one of those bikes and I think they are super.  5500 is a fair price to pay, depending on what wheels he has on.  Who is the guy?

Got Fulcrim wheels on it, and its the compact frame. The guy is Jerry Lombard
