Polar does it again

Went in with HR thingamajik pickup not working . Quick test , found to be faulty , quick replacement and we all happy .

My polar speedsensor is leaking a bit and water gets in there somehow.

 

it then contaminates the battery connectors and stops working.

 

its a pain to clean it out every month.

 

do you think they can fix it or do i buy a new one ?

 

and where in ct can i send it to ?

Polar's service for Capies suck!  A week to get a battery changed because you have to courier it to them because they can't get a watch shop in the Cape to do it.  Pathetic.

The Midrand service centre is just that, young ladies always very friendly and effiecient.

my polar leaked. Spoke to Harald Zumpt. Arranged replacement. I upgraded and just paid in the difference.

Someone is bound to start a ride- gotta look at the Hauwteng road map to see how far 4ways is from Edenvale, or else there is a ride from Edenvale. So aren't you doing the 94.7?

my mate and my polar watch doesnt work properly.

the hr reading shows 0 then gives proper reading then jumps to 260 etc etc.

 

polar recommended i put the hr strap excluding the transponder into the washing machine with clothes for 1 wash... you meant to do it every 5-10 training sessions. ive NEVER heard of this and was quite shocked!!
