Good to see you are on the mend so quickly!

Humming Bird - this route we doing is great training for Fast One. Not totally flat but no real climbs either.

Howzit all you hubbers.

It is boiling in Knysna and we are in one serious heat wave.

I mean it is hot beyond believe and I am now glad that I decided to come down early to get used to this heat.

I rode Hawkerville this morning and once again it was hot, not sure if I have said that already.

The gear shifting was on and the lines she was too sexy and I had a ball on the bike.

I took my camera along to force myself to ride a little slower so I would not over coock it before the race.

I found myself hearing slave telling us to take it easy and I had to slow myself down several times as not to risk it all on a taper ride.

I am alive and we are moving base to Oudtshoorn on Thursday so to experience the 39 degree heat as well.

I feel good and mind is sorted, now I just have to ride eat and keep my mind in check and I will complete if I stay clear of the technicals.

Decided to change this into a complete and NOT a compete race as I do not want to cook the legs in the first half.

I must say the nerves are shot as well.

Anyway my update from a HOT and awesome Knysna.

Hope all your training is doing well for the "fast one"

Humming Bird, this is the make or break year buddy so I am sure Kid will also inform you that the schooling is very important and it is good to see your head is in the right place.

Do not get me wrong, you should still do your thing but great IMen take many years to mature so you have plenty of time.

Slave why you not training, just joking, I know you must be frustrated to have build the base and now not be able to tap on it.

Just remeber the base is forever and you will come back so much faster and stronger once you are ready again.

GO and Andy thanks for the great advice and please keep it coming.

Train hard and safe all of you.

PS: Kieran where have you been buddy, have not seen you around for ages on the hub
