Hopefully going to give an Audax ride a go tomorrow @ 7am I might just be able to tell you guys about all 200km of it tomorrow afternoon/evening Time for some shut-eye now

Trubie Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 So the plan was to go do a clubride today in Heidelberg. While getting ready the heavens opened and the plan was abandoned, got back into bed and decided to wait till its time to go to Xumbugs, cause the rain would have stopped by then. So I left home at 6:45, got there, only a handful of idiots pitched. Literally just stopped when some serious drops started coming down again. Quick chat, we heading home. Decided to do some laps in the suburb, and if it does become unbearable, I'm not far from home.After first lap - mcbride, delphinium, hennie alberts, swartkoppies - saw it was 6.8 k's and took about 14 mins, so by doing 8 I will get in a good 2 hrs +, which should give me a 65 k+ ride (as its 10 to Xumbugs and back).It basically rained on and off the whole time, on lap 5 it started raining seriously hard. Already wet, I made up my mind to do 2 more laps and call it a day. Halfway through lap 5 a snake bite started forcing some air out of my rear tyre and I took the shortest way home. Ended up with lotsa wet stuff, 1:35 riding time and 43.4 k's.Maybe I need to join that CA support group? Tmrw will probably be a perfect day for riding - but I wont be there, I'll be in church getting some food for my soul. PS - The Heidelberg ride got interupted by rain after about 20 k's, and they got back soaking wet..... Trubie2010-05-01 02:36:09

Hey wussy boy... what rain? the sun is shining Well maybe it's YOU then Trubie, you hardcore dude.I was planning to go out this afternoon, when I got back from dropping Hummy off it was dark again and the rain started again. So ZIPP riding today.Hopefully tomorrow I can do a few km's.

Ha Ha Kieran Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Ha ha guys I manged to get in 65kms Friday, 65kms Sat and a good 100 this morning bright and early through the hills of Nelspruit! Not a breath of wind or and incling of a drop of rain And LOTS and LOTS of MOUNTAINS
