Thank heavens she didn't insult the bike. There would have been blood, and lungs on handle bars.

I think I lost a pint or two on the route Saturday from all this teeth marks on my legs where the big teeth bit me.

Oxman, there are many options open to you dude so let's wait and see how you feel SAturday, then decidelong or short, hard and fast or just plain lazy or somewhere in between.

You wanna park at my place again and we'll see how it goes from there? There is the option of either 47 or 60 from the short loop or 67 or 80 on the long loop.

GOv2.0, Dash is welcome to ride. How's his fitness? You okes hurt me Saturday and I'm fit. (On Saturday I was fighting fit. (Fighting for breath and fit to drop.))

I'm a little concerned that since I got a hurtin', that maybe it will be a bit of a systemic shock for Dash.

Dash, dude, that is some serious looking hardware you have there and if I had a bike as nice as that, I would want to parade it around all over and brag. Like get out and ride at every possible chance.

Riding is fun, it really is.

So, GO, like whassss-uuuup with this new coded signature dude?

Sharp one Frosty. Careful not to cut yourself. smiley2.gif

Mystery solved.

Edit:

Couple of weeks ago, some ijit insulted the prince and hurt the birdman's feelings. Last I heard, he was just a blubbering wreck of bleeding jelly lying somewhere out on the roads of the long loop.

I was sure I saw the remnants of the blood when I went passed there Saturday.

I must say it is always nice when guys sit at the back and then just go for the sprint...always fun!!

ShaunA, not sure how this fits into this thread, but yeah now that you mention it , its normally a big turn off for everyone.

Did you ride Wilro yesterday?

Nuwbie. Play nice dude. Shawn A rode with me on Sunday and is still learning the ropes.smiley2.gif

(Least I think it was Shawn A.)

If he's not refering to the mad dash at the end of the Allewynspoort road, then I agree and we'll have to smack him around a bit.smiley4.gif

We have to teach the new kids on the block and encourage them. Otherwise they end up with expensive dust collectors in the garage.

Oxman - if what Slave is saying is true about wed, I will only be doing a quick short loop on Sat, no riding on sunday this week, with monday - sigh, no big sigh - being another public holiday, we have to take advantage and ride long monday, so for me sat short and furious with race up the stepssmiley11.gifsmiley11.gif

I rode with the Bunch yesterday the short loop. It was not intended at you an dthe Wilro race ....Sorry for that.

Which bunch, there are normally two bunches.

The first bunch is reffered to as the fast bunch and the other is the slow / social bunch.

The fast bunch splits just after the Lido, some guys go long (Walkerville, John Bosco, Cheese Factory, Circus, etc) and the other guys go short (Nampak / paper mills loop).

Which bunch were you in ?

I was the one pacing in the front with the Red Trek, first bunch (Lido Nampak route). Turned right at the Stop to do some Xtra kilo`s

Now this Oxman, is where the true abilities of Nuwbie come out. First time I rode with him, I was firstly gobsmacked by the skiing outfit and then I though "k, he's a big dude so he must be slowish like he says on the hub and maybe I can keep up with him."

Should have known that when he knew everyone at Xumbugs that this is a long established "Suvvern Rider." Bliksem, dude, you should see him klap those steps.

When he says a quick ride around the short loop, trust me, only the time is short. (well for me it feels more like a lifetime of hell trying to hang on, white knuckle sh!t.)

Looks are decieving. This boytjie can ride.smiley2.gif

I think I know who you are (even though I wouldn't recognize you if you stood in front of me) we kept going past each other. I ride a white & blue Silverback and was wearing a plain white top and a blue helmet.

GreyOwl is the dude with the Pinarello.

S2L, got lazy and went with the social bunch. See S2L you missed out!!!

I saw you, or let me say your bike. GreyOwl did alot of work with me. Just before all the attacks came. Engela Conradie also rode with me on the Bianchi. She was the one with the attack ap the last drag.
