MintSauce Posted January 18, 2007 Share Thug.....do a brother a favour and try weigh them. Does your LBS have a scale? I'd like to see if there's a difference between the stock and UST!
Thug Posted January 18, 2007 Share Pick up one of each and see which you prefer? Nah, 2 of the UST's and can the Larsen UST on my back rim (keep it as a spare)

According to their website: STICK-EF/R26x2.10Folding12040-65620?35gDTCF/R26x2.10Folding12040-65610?30gTUBELESSF/R26x2.10Folding12030-50770?40gSo there could be as much as a 230g difference between the DTC & the Tubeless
TitusTi Posted January 18, 2007 Share That's pretty standard though for true tubeless tyres.
MintSauce Posted January 18, 2007 Share Geez....i'm sticking with DTCs and Stan's! That's a big weight diff!
Thug Posted January 18, 2007 Share Geez....i'm sticking with DTCs and Stan's! That's a big weight diff! But there could be also as little as a 90g weight difference. I just took the extremes on each side.
Thug Posted January 19, 2007 Share Picked up the tyre last night, but the lbs didn't have a scale so I couldn't weigh either the UST or DTC version. As a matter of interest the Larsen TT LUST was R25 more expensive
Thug Posted January 22, 2007 Share Fitted the Nevegal on Friday afternoon. Rode 85k's on Sat & another 55k's yesterday and the amount of grip is far superior to that of TT which it replaced. In fact I'll go so far as to say the it saved my bacon from a mean wipeout into a patch of mud yesterday morning. The tyre of choice from now onwards. TitusTi Posted January 22, 2007 Share Ahh, another convert. Now you know why we say the TT's are crap! But no one believes us!

dirtrider Posted January 22, 2007 Share TT's are still the best ? If you need grip just turn the tyre around .
TitusTi Posted January 22, 2007 Share TT's are the best for what? They have no grip regardless of which way round you run them, they don't roll all that fast and they cost more than the Nevegal's?
