Please be aware when riding with your mouth open, as I tend to do generally cause I am puffing and panting so much, that a insect does not fly into your mouth and sting you on your lip! lol Ouch

Doing my usual monday morning ride early today, I was pushing it down Conrad drive in Blairgowrie (well according to me anyeway), doing about 70km/h and a bee flew into my mouth...and with me trying to get it out the little bastard stung me on the inside of my lip! Suppose I am luckly he did not sting my throat!

Thank goodness I am not allergic and I was close to home,  it looked like I was in the ring the Layla Ali for a few seconds or so... Dead

Maybe a suggestion if you are allergic or if you don't know if you are to put some antihystamein in your saddle bag or something to that effect

jedimastersa, you are worse than amateur... she regularly adds to her protein intake, but just with miggies.... they see her and figure she's an easy target!

Last week I got some dirt in my eye, and my friend that was riding with me told me to stop looking for sympathy...and then our friend Murphy paid a visit - he was stung by a bee not even two minutes after dismissing me.  I nearly killed myself laughing (after I checked if he was allergic).

Lucky amateur!

Whenever I head for a herd of muggies, they splatter all over my face and arms.... I think they are scared of the gaping black hole sucking in as much air as possible!Sleepy
