Yip. My Enduro wheelset weighs 1805g. That's less than alost ALL AM wheelsets and less than some XC wheelsets. Yet at the same time they are stiffer, stronger and faster.

Me likes.

sh*t. If this carrys on Im going to have to buy a new wheelset for my mountainbike, and unfortunately Its going to have to either be. red hubs with black rims and spokes, or white hubs with gray spokes and red nipples on black rims..And thats going to cost me dearly.. And it will be all your fault!LOL

I am having thoughts of other parts Instead of keeping my mind pure and staying true to my santacruze with OK wheels..LOLLOL

Real gamblers know when to stop...Im definately not a gambler and I have noooo brakes man.

What did your set cost?

Im looking at getting a real lightweight set. as Ive seriously not buckled or bent a wheel in must be 3 years. and I ride hard but the 5" bike helps and I only weigh 66kg and of course Im really smoothWink but this Have brought me to a point where I figuresd I can go for much lighter wheels.

So.. I want to try find a wheelset in the 1.6kg range any heavyer and I can just keep mine.

At 66k's you can go for whatever hub laced to a ZTR Olympic. They are strong yet very light. I've had two sets (one with DT240 hubs, one with CK hubs) and they lasted me fine. Never had to true them never had any issues. And I weigh 80k's!

Both of those wheelsets were build up to under 1500g. You can go for I9 Ultralite. They are laced to Olympic or DT 4.2 rims. Worth it.

Then keep your current wheelset for when you wanna do bigger stuff or bash out Cobra or Downhill 1 & 2...yee-haaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Big thanks to Andre (morewoodkid) and Travis at Rush Sports for their great service last week.

Have been threatening to send my I9 wheelset for a service, but couldn't bare being without them. Finally decided to take Andre up on his word to get them back to me in the same week I would send them

Plan was to send them from CT on a Mon, arrive in PMB on Wed, service them them and send them back Wed afternoon to be back in CT on Fri...just in time for the weekend. Possible, but you know couriers and local service. Anyway, due to hassles on my side I only got them away on the Thu. Arrived there late Mon afternoon.

Travis phoned me Tue morning to let me know they were there and that he would take them apart ASAP and let me know what's cutting. I phoned back a bit later to chat about something else at which time Andre gave me a run down of what they've done and how much it would cost.

A bit later Travis phones me to to let me know he's done, what the cost is and to confirm my ad. Brilliant.

Thu morning the courier rocks up at my work with a shiny set of I9 wheels.

Brilliant. Thanks a lot guys. Wheels are spinning like you won't believe and you stuck to your word.

PS. It gets better. Andre phoned me this afternoon to ask if I'm happy with the wheels and if everything went okay with the courier back to me. What the heck. I was actually caught off guard when he phoned. Didn't have a clue why he would phone...an importer phoning to check if you're happy with the service you got..? What is this country coming to!?

Thanks Andre & Travis. Enough typing for one week.

Are these available locally? What prices are they retailing at here? Should I sell the wife for a set of these hubs:rolleyes: There has not been much talk about them locally, but I do know they are very good from reports that Ive heard. Can anyone give feedback - Like are they worth the money or should I be looking at other hubs rather
