Anyone tried Milko Balm as Chamois Cream yet ?

I know you are supposed to get it at the pharmacy but i have been to 5 already and i get the strangest looks from the pharmacist every single time with a "What do you want to use it for ?"

So can anyone who have bought it please tell me from where in the northern suburbs/ table view area of cape town.

I used chamois cream, Fissan paste, tea tree oil, etc. Still prefer the Milking cream...

My wife is my supplier.. don't know if same brand as you want, but...

I think it was Day 4 of the Epic 2007 (Montagu to Villiersdorp). I felt a little tender, so that morning instead of putting just one "scoop" of Milko Balm on my chamois, I put an extra one on just in case.

I should have realised as we lined up at the start that things were wrong - it was already oozing through my shorts.Confused

With a bit of riding, and the heat, I eventually had Milko Balm running down the back of my legs (right to my socks). My saddle was also super slippery. I got quite hot, as I don't think I was able to sweat on my legs (the thick layer of Milko Balm had clogged all the pores).

So, from that day on I only use one scoop Wink

Thanks guys, I got some last weekend and have started using it.

It definitely works very well. As well as any of the chamois creams i have used.

i have used it this weekend on a 6 hour dirt ride and normally i would have been chafed en sore after such an ordeal, but i must say that although i was a bit tender there were no visible chafing.

TwoThumbs%20Up Thumbs%20Up thumbs up for the Milko Balm.
