Michelle was horribly Wink late and only arrived 30 minutes after we all arrived

Darn' date=' I was hoping that would go unmentioned! I'll blame it all on Dylan who met me late!

We had some bike mechanics "bush style" when MicH realized that she couldn't "uncleat" due tot he fact that she had a screw loose

Who needs enemies with friends like these!

Lucky for me I had a spare screw for her....

Amazing what us MTBers carry in our packs! Thank you thank you thank you!

Thanks for the great ride and hope we all make it back again soon soon

You gotta deal!

thanks to everyone, had a great day!

Nope to many people looking ! smiley36.gif Meet me under the tree behind the bottle store at midnight tonight for exchange of the information . make sure nobody sees you !

Wedding are so over-rated !

yup yup....i agree....i don't liek the idea of weddings....in fact being single means i can ride when i want, how long i want, with who i want and where i want.....i know some of the married people here also have that freedom, but some also don't when they get married!! hehehe poor suckers :)

anyways....my legs are already itching for my next ride....dammit, if only i didn't have to work Cry

That was my first time at North Farm and I thoroughly enjoyed it. What a nice bunch of people. It was a nice change from the Spruit with its wheel eating single track. It was also nice to be able to ride side by side with someone and to chat while riding. (Even if they had a screw loose and I didn't know it at the time.) Scary, very scary.

6 hours sounds too much for me for next week end. If someone else is doing something a lot shorter I'll be in.  Any suggestions?

i never let you know if i was coming with or not......

we did 2 hrs ride in the pm started at about 4pm so the weather was amazing actually

none of that grueling heat Tongue

2 hrs of chasing and i was a bit worn out so i think i made a good decision by not coming with

i would have been a drag.......

1st time using my shoes and my pedals

i had about 4 thumbles or so (not proper proper falls LOL)

fortunately for me noone but me had a camera LOLLOLLOL

the most ironic thing though was when i tried to practice in my garden and fell badly 2-3 times

now i have a nice bruise on my arm that i keep on knocking on my chair and my shelves and my desk........so i guess ill have it for a while

so im sorry to have missed another fun gathering but i just couldnt face one without mampara Wink

Hey bored girl! Was about to send you a pm and ask if you'd made it or not! I only saw yr post this morning, so didn't even know to look out for you!

Good to hear that you are getting the falling over out the way, giggle! We all go through that, so you're not alone (I still fall over whilst clipped in sometimes!).

Anyway, good luck for Sabie and we will put something together for the week after!

Gee you guys are early starters. 6am in Pretoria!! If I fall off it'll be because I'm asleep.

I'm keen on anything new so I'll be there if I can. Stevo won't be because he is in Sabie as well otherwise he would be there.

Perhaps we need to start another topic? Saffa G will you do that? You'll need to give us directions etc. I presume that we are talking Sunday?

Saffa G I'm glad to see you're ok after your fall. For a while you had us worried.

I stopped on the very last root before the river. I could have done a glorious pike and half turn into the river all done while sitting on my bike of course if it wasn't for that root. It was very very close. Glad no one noticed it, they were all looking at you. You did a wonderful and elaborate dismount and I feel that you should be given the award for "Most elaborate dismount of the day" although others did their best to take the award away from you.

hey Mamba, thanks man, that makes me feel a great deal better....I am fine....just my right hand is quite sore, not sure how it got hurt, but after spinning last night it was aching a little.....nothing some dinner and a guava juice couldn't fix.

No Problem.  I have noted it and will add some directions to the topic for Saturday's ride.....it's a nice route and quite too.....with some great views as the sun rises over the hills.....**hope it doesn't rain or somethings**

And if time permits we could sit drinking coffee afterwards at mugg and bean while we sweat all over their early morning customers and clean muffin covered tables and chairs....heheheheBig%20smile

Round up some more peoples and I will put the direction up like i said 7 lines above...
