It was funny to watch the first couple of guys from a group really pumping it at the start to almost come to a complete halt (or actually get pushed back by the wind) 100 meters later.

droo Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Not many. I saw one guy with a Pinarello and 404's flapping in the breeze like a flag. I was pretty happy with my 9kg steel beast, I gotta say. But I still walked the start, and even saw a guy get blown off his feet...

Come one this is CT and one can look on the net to check the weather and see that you need to leave them at home.. Think that most Capetonians that own a set of Deepsections is actually wasting theirs time. How many races a year can you ride without wind? Guess people want to show off and those wheels make your bike look extra good, but on the practical side..... Not to clever
