I am looking at buying a slightly more aggressive tyre than the usual Crossmark seeing as winter is on the distant horizon. Its either those or Conti Mountain Kings... Opinions please. Im going to give some WTB's a try, Have not ridden them yet, thought I might as well try before I judge them as my experiance is sometimes very different to the ave Joe. Dirtbreath Posted March 10, 2009 Share I moved from Crossmarks to Mountain Kings. Brilliant. The Crossmarks were just losing it in the damp conditions we were having, particularly riding off camber. Similar to my Jones MudX. I wouldnt ride those as a general tyre. Great in mud. Put them on for the Sabie time trial (caught out on day3) and they were amazing.
