HR. There usually is a default code. Try download the manual from the net.

 

If that doesn't work, go to the agents.

Try this, maybe you lucky. Pull out the ashtray and chek the underside for a little sticker with the code. I know some car dealers do that.

Same thing happened to a friend of mine (well, not exactly, cos she doesn't even have a dog) but she had to take the Citi Golf in to the dealer... good luck HR, hope you come right soon.

I think that would kinda defeat the point of the system... your best bet is the dealer. (Come to think of it, it need not even be a VW dealer, the local street corner smack vendor will probably be able to help you too...)

Any V/W dealer should be able to do this, had this happen regular on  d/c and replaced the factory one.
