It went much better than we both expected, the bikes still need some fettling and finetuning, but all in all it was great fun!And here are some pics of my Flint 29er (at various stages of completion): I've cut the steerer since then, bought Ninerboy's Thomson layback seatpost and stem, and I'm thinking about some new brakes .... Chrz, Treb Hey Treb that Flint looks great. I see it looks like you've found your magic gear without using a tensioner...how is that half link chain holding out though? I've done same on a Niner MCR and the tension was pretty good to start off with but looks like the chain wear is starting to take it's toll and I've lost a lot of tension and it's getting quite pap...will probably need to put a tensioner on at some stage.
