Picked up the frame yesterday from Kiwi (excellent service, can highly recommend buying from him).

Some pics of the 29er on-one scandal frame.

That's such a pretty frame. Now I want one as well! Too bad I just spent a bunch on Trials goodies on CRC.

PS - Your jump bike needs a seat. Running it like that is just asking for an embarrassing and painful episode.

PSS - Your other bike needs a wash.

Daemon,

I've got the same frame (bought 2nd hand from Jerrard) and am stating to 'collect bits' and build mine.

Please PM me with details of the 'build' components - which FD did you use? and any clearance problems?

Looks a beauty.

Cheers,

Dave.

You will love the frame, rode the MTN bike this weekend and a local mtb loop and the bike is loads of fun and quite responsive.

My build is.

- On One Reetard rims with planet X superlight hubs (it's the wheelset Kiwi sells) mated to Specialized fast track in the back and Specialized "The Captain" in the front turned into a tubeless conversion using cut out 26" tubes.

- KCNC skewers

- XT bottom pull front mech, it clears the rear tyre....but it's close, will put on a top pull mech after Mabalingwe to see if the clearance is better.

- Shimano XT cranks with eggbeater SL's

- The RST M29 air 80mm fork (Kiwi sells it), seems to be quite a nice fork, ESPECIALLY for the price. The steerer tube is still a little long and the handlebars sti a bit high, need to shift the spacers (the on one crinkle cut ones) around a little to find the sweet spot for me, before I cut it further.

- Thomson stem

- KCNC scandium seatpost

- KCNC SC bone riser bars

- ergron GP1 grips (love these)

- SRAM X9 long cage rear mech
