I was quite apprehensive when I got into my car and it was only 1degC outside but it warmed up nicely and the ride was definitely worth the trip from our side of town! After spending some time with the Shimano DX pedals (with the long pins) I've decided clip-in pedals are overrated. Skate shoes + DX = awesome grip, even after a water crossing.
