Eldron Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Apparently the "B" sample gets tested only at the request of the guilty party. These are IOC rules and not UCI i think. Quite right - the guilty party has to request the B sample. The problem I have is that the whole world knows about Rebellin's positive before Rebellin even knows or has the chance to request the b sample. This creates a "guilty by public jury" situation. I'm all for getting doping out of the sport but splashing half truths, rumours and suspicions before due process is irresponsible and destroys cycling's crediblity. It will be interesting if Rebellin's b sample is negative...
