ark Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 everytime i watch the new miway mtb programme on tv , they scroll an ad at the bottom of the screen to sms "bike" to 39436 for bike insurance, i did this and got a call this morning. the guy did not seem to sure about the whole thing & after holding for him for a minute or so he came back to me saying that they do not insure bikes only, you have to insure your household belongings as well !!! is it just me or is this a *** way of advertising this ?? does any one know of a company that does insure bikes only.

Da2lip Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 stay away from outsurance. My mates bike was stolen and they refused to payout. Even though it was locked to the bike rack. The guys had to use a portable grinder to cut if open. my 2c

Jules Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 The MiWay honcho is a keen cyclist himself. I'm surprised that his offering is not better, particularly if you look at the money ploughed into TV.
