Lightening my bike...

So Ive burned my head trying to think how to lighten my bike.... but I want to stay aluminium. Without spending thousands...

 

Specs:

Giant XTC 20" Aluminium Frame

American Classic 26" MTB white wheelset

Rock Shock SID Race 1200g 07Model

XTR M960 Crankset

XTR M970 Groupset excluding Crankset

Avid Juicy Ultimate 140\160

XT Casette

KCNC skewers, crankbolts,jockey wheels

Hope Seatclamp

Schwalbe Racing Ralph UST back wheel

Schwalbe Racing Ralph Front wheel

Easton EA70 Seatpost

Pro LT handlebar

Ritchey WCS Stem

Eggbeater SL Pedals

 

Weight at the moment 9540gr

but i like a light bike aswell...think I must go Carbon could bring my bike down to 8.7 costing me 20k

Reckon you could get that one down to that weight, but you'd probably have to cough up more.

Changing the Tyres to Evolution beads,chucking on a KCNC finishing kit and using KCNC drivetrain components will knock the weight down to 9 kgs.

I think yoju should get rid of those extremely heavy 1.8mm butted spokes and replace them with DT Swiss Revolution or SAPIM Laser spokes that are only 1.5mm thick.
