Big deal. How about starting a thread for every time you see a car run a light or a stop street or speed in a manner that endangers others? I mean, if the cyclists do it, they will only harm themselves. Who cares. Natural selection is what it is. Rather rage against those whose negligence can kill us.

Not to worry, cause when one of them gets hit by a car it will be the motorists fault.

I go through red lights pretty often. You have to - most lights are induction triggered and I would still be waiting for them to turn green. Also - I dont feel like waiting at a pointless red light at 5 AM - waiting to get mugged.

 

I dont sail through without checking though - how dof is that?

My point exactly. And if you do mis-judge it, it's your life on the line. Some twit in 2 tons of steel though, is a different story.

As you are no doubt aware, this is a cycling forum not a motoring one.

 

The actions of these cyclists not only endangers their own lives, but give cyclists are bad name and does not help my cause which is to bring harmony between cyclists and motorists and ultimately, to save lives!!!

When you are alone and you don't feel safe, by all means have a good look and go thru ONLY WHEN SAFE!!!!

 

But when you are a group of about 20 riders, then what is there excuse!!!
