The only comfort this provides is with buying selling items.

 

Perhaps its the natural sceptic in me, but i tend to only trust people that have 'history' on the hub when it comes to buying goods from them.

 

If a rookie with 3 posts is selling a 40k carbon something or other and wants the money deposited etc etc etc....it tends to get me nervous.

 

But Ja, if you keep the status maybe on the users profile page, then you can still use it for this purpose, but it doesnt become a phallis measuring contest.

  I would be the most unpopular mod ever - I would delete the flesh thread and anything that even remotely resembles it.  Then I would delete all those derogatory posts about women's racing.  Then I would delete any religious threads.  And any posts that appear to be even slightly racist.  And any posts by the Church-of-Lance brigade, not to mention any posts insulting Campy!  And anything by Bob, of course.

on pantani...in my opinion, the best mod we've had. no offence to the others - never had issues with linnega, fatty, crux (hi crux!) or matt...all great guys - but the black mod was active both as a hubber and a fair-minded mod. admin, please re-instate him.
