Hi all.

Just a couple pics of my 03 Spesh Big Hit.

Hayes HFX brakes.

Rock Shox Boxxer race up front and Fox Vanilla R out back.

Truvativ Hussefelt cranks with MRP chainguide.

Maxxis High Roller 2.5" in front and an Intense 3"(yes three inch) on the back which is a 24" wheel.

The Purple Nasties* were the baddies in the Yellow Submarine, this is what they would ride if they had mtbs.

(*also a drink from student days - lager, cider and blackcurrant - yes, in the same glass)

Why do you have the 24" wheel on the back? Surely you should have it on the front that way you are always going downhill and will be faster?

It's for easier manoeuvrability.. 'Cuz it's the back.. So it only trails behind you.. So why make it big? (It's meant more for like freeriding and stuff where there is more manoeuvrability required)

And then.. Why 3" on the rear as well? You need more tread on the front for more grip. The rear wheel just skids behind you.
