I believe DCM failed to pay for the exposure at the pmb world cup?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I'm talking about a title sponsor for a very recent major event that receive a hell of a lot of exposure, and now is refusing to pay a big chunk of change.

shhesh, but whats the other side of the coin? If that is the case the riders must be pretty pissed! But I've also heard that Garmin has pulled the plug on their team...I've heard the marketing guy I think it was Jason? is now working for the opposition...?

Just a suggestion, make sure of your facts before making accusations in a public forum. May otherwise come back to bite you as we've seen before Stern%20Smile.

I agree. Napalm, you start your statement with "I believe" which indicates  hearsay...Is it worth making a rumour like this public before any facts are known?

Taps.... that's what's being said in the grapevine. If it's true, you have to seriously question the ethics of someone who gained great marketing  internationally, and then turns around a doesn't pay.

They sponsor a mate of mine for Offroad I will ask him if he has been paid.

If it is true DCM (OK, I assume it's them) need to be taken to task, but let's get the facts. Just because many may say so, doesn't mean it is so. Confused

What grapevine?..... You have to question the ethics and agenda behind a highly ambigous thread topic. If it's not true, then what? Risk alienating an important sponsor from the sport?

Even if it is true, something like this would still do more harm than good. Especially with a deflammetory title like "Chromium smugglers fffffing riders?"

Maybe it's better to get some facts before going of half cock from the 'grapevine'

And whats the problem with that?

The DCM riders (if it's true) should shaddup, smile and act professional while waiting for their next pay cheque....Wink
