I almost sold my laptop like this, the amount reflected in my account but the guy was pushy and it was after banking hours so I told the guy to wait, he got really aggressive but I thought screw that, the next day the bank said it was a stolen cheque and that it was going to be reversed.

Esmeyer: seeing that you sent it to JHB I will have a look around, it truly is a one of kind and really sticks out.

I really hope they find the bastard, really sad story but if there is anything positive to be gained from this is that we have all learned something and we all feel ur pain.

But what really annoys me is the fact that this happens more and more, the cops should really be doing more like tracing cellphones, they don't even do this for rapes and hijackings, so annoying, the technology is there and they should be using it.

Adress: 101 Picadilly square

Belleveu East, JHB. Found out later it is a dodgy area, so thats why we suspect it was a nigerian syndicate. Police are still busy with investigation.

This address has been used in a few scams involving camera's.

One guy was arrested a few weeks ago for a false cheque and goods that were sent here.
