So whats so special? How does it revolusionise cycling?

Its not like it only has one fork leg or something.

Carbon fibre wrapped in some pretty strange shapes so that a BCom Marketing grad can talk about it.

My markeing psin on it is that its a Blue and Black frame with a headtube' date=' a top, a seat tube and a downtube. then hey added some seat staysand chain stays and gave you a new BB design. Fopr this revolution you have to pay 30% more.

Now if it made my coffee, htat would impress me

As a customer (I assume) I respect your question, never mind the way in which you have asked it...

If you are really interested in the answer to your question, have a read through this article on the new BH G5

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/new-bh-road-racers-for-ag2r

I hope this helps?

A coffee machine would be a better bet for a cup of coffee though.

Swift I am reallyinterested a decent believable answer to the questions whyis this bike better and why should I buy one?

Every year frame manufacturers tell us XX%stiffer, XX%lighter XX % beter blah blah blah... But thats all it sounds like, blah blah blah.

the article claims it's 100% stiffer than what? A G4? If thats the case then moving from 50 N.m to 100N.m seems a massive improvement and tells me that the G4 was well cooked pasta, not exactly what an owner of a G4 would want to hear.

Each year the frame manufacturers push the price up by over 10% for less material, low wage increases since inflation is low in Taiwan so why should I pay R38K for less material.

I do like some of the features like the mount for a Di2 battey but thats does no justify the price..

I gues I would like to know why this bike is better than a Giant TCR Advanced, or a Cannondale Super 6 or a Pinarello PRince. I guess I'd also like to know why I am being sked to pay for 810gr of carbon fibre whe than amount of money will buy me a 200kg motorcycle. No amount of labour cost justifies the price.

Are you willing ot let me test drive one? for R38K i'd want to ride before I buy. blind faith does not cut it.

So what am I getting for my money?

Like in everything out there, when a new/improved product comes out, why not stop making the old one. It's obviously rubbish compared to the new stuff.

Cannondale use to be the only company that actually trickled the models down as they developed new ones. Like 2005's top frame became their bottom of the range 3 years later. No other manufacturer does/did that.

exactly, and hence last years model is still quality.

everyone else rubbish's last year product while the new product is not really any better. I don't like that sort of marketing.

But doesn't SRAM do the same...? last year's X0 is this year's X9, X9 is this year's X7...?

But I agree..its most likely no better than the previous frames.....Le Tour proved that this frame was nothing special. I saw NO revolution of the sport with the AG2R team as a result of the frame....were they quicker, faster on the climbs or what; 'cause I missed it and believe you me...I watched the whole Tour, live? What does this bike do that is SO special, revolutionary?

Come on guys "revolution" is just marketing speak. Give Swift a break, he is just trying to flog some BH frames.

Can't judge the frame on the performance of riders at the TDF - then Bianchi's must be even worse, since TBW did not even make the TDF, and where does that leave Releigh?

The BH is a carbon frame competing in a market full of carbon frames. It is light, probably only the Scott Addict is lighter. It costs less than a Pinarello Dogma (Prince frame stays the same, but rrp got slashed by $1000  for 2010)

Blindfolded, you won't be able to tell the difference between this, a Scott, a Dale, Pinarello or a Cervelo, in any case. Pointless comparing the specs at the top end - if it fits & you like it better than the other bikes, the warranty is good & the price fits your wallet, no reason not to buy it.
