stringbean Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 There are so many scams out there some of the other forums i belong to have started enforcing a minimum amount of posts before a member can put something in the Classifieds. What do you think?
KlapperKnop Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I do believe no contact numbers should be displayed in the replies/topics. If a person wants to buy he/she must be a registered hubber .. and PM should be a form of communication.
Joe Low Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Best idea i've seen on this subject - nice one S'bean
duringd Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I understand there are some skelms out there, but is the final decision not with the buyer? I am new to this forum, I am a real cycle fanatic, but to limit me because the end user does not check the legality of the purchase does not seem fair. Maybe we should look closer at how transactions are finalised?Â
Sammajoor Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Â Yip more like 500 then he is legitsammajoor2009-06-11 12:17:01
Larry Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 good idea because scammers create an account without posting many posts
biscuit Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 all very good, but wat happens to the guys who aren't regular hubbers or decide to create an account to sell that extra bike or what ever, the hub will loose alot of good deals.....in the end we will be loosing. I think contact numbers area better way to go... thats my opinion.
Sammajoor Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009  all very good' date=' but wat happens to the guys who aren't regular hubbers or decide to create an account to sell that extra bike or what ever, the hub will loose alot of good deals.....in the end we will be loosing. I think contact numbers area better way to go... thats my opinion.[/quote'] Then get a hubber to post for themÂ
biscuit Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Having a middle man will just complicate things, in my view, as it just will lead to confusion as everything needs to be double checked before the hubber can chnage anything about the item he is selling.
