Why go ride your mtb up a tar road so steep you have to fry your brakes coming back down? Just a point, I do still do it now and then. Gimme silvermine loop anyday. Bos Posted June 15, 2009 Share I hear you dude, I almost blew it, The chain I just put on after my 1st wasnt even 1000km old skipped on one of the cogs I think because the cog was more whorn (sh*t how do you spellit haha) than the others. So Now I have to keep It very clean otherwise It skipps. Its not cheap. I find that most of the time its better value for bucks to just buy a crankset than to replace the rings. droo Posted June 15, 2009 Share Big ring's still fine, only recently got quick enough to actually use it So I'll see if I can get away with chain, cluster and small ring.
