"He who rides in front of the Truck becomes fit....He who rides behind the Truck becomes tired..."

Come to think of it - if you ride in front on the truck & you not fit - you can become tyre'd too!!LOL

So you have no wife?, kids?, brothers?,parents?sisters? loved ones?

If you dont, hey feel free, flatten yourself, no one will shed a tear, one less life - who cares.!

............but if you do....................dont you think you have a responsibility to come home to them?

Well' date=' my wife just called me to say she is rushing her PA through to the Springs hospital.

The hospital just called to say her husband was involved in a motorcycle accident (he drives to work on one of those little Vespa's) - seems he drove slap bang into the back of a bakkie in the town centre, the driver of the bakkie who went to the hospital as well also spoke to her and said he flew 3/4 of the height of a telephone pole into the air before landing on the tar - he said he and the motorbike was probably going no faster than - guess what - 40kms per hour -.

The Hospital has said they are operating immediately to remove his spleen, he lost 4 litres of blood and they are concerned about other organs which look crushed - they told her they cant wait for her, if they dont operate NOW, he will have less than 30 minutes to live.

So Yah, go ahead, draft trucks, just make sure you are single, have no loved ones to leave broken hearted and you have a good insurance policy.

He is not only a fool, he has no respect for his wife and family either.!

Thats how I feel about a bud of mine - hope his wife takes all his RAF money (R200K) when he gets it next month. He T-boned a bakkie with his Vuka 2yrs ago and I'm (still) pissed with him about what his wife and family had to go through because of his stupidity.

REALY THATS THE GR8 THING ABOUT LIVING IN AFRICA - WE STILL GET TO DO SOME STUPID sh*t' date=' AS BOYS ALLWAYS SHOULD.[/quote']Poor kids have to go to bike parks to stuff around. I think I wouldn't live long if I tried half the things I used to do when I was a kid these days.

The roads are too dangerous.

I've done 74km/h past Westgate behind a P'nP truck.

I had a car like that once too but I sold it and bought a better one.

So whenever we reach 40km/hr we should break or stop cycling altogether ?

that pretty much rules everything out except maybe staring at one's bike in the spare room...........
