Just a reminder though' date=' it seems that bombs affect slime quite negatively. Once you've used a bomb best you replace it.[/quote']

Thanks.!

The CO2 in bombs are very cold when released into your tube...expansion and law of physics...thus your slime actually freezes up and forms a ball of latex in your tube...which will just grow bigger with time...

OR / AND the co2 is very dry (much more so than normanl air from a pump...and this will dry out your slime (to form a latex ball)

Probabaly a combo of both...

If you use *** then you shouldnt need to topup but time will tell on my tester...

Of all the people on the Hub, you should now better than to utter those letters. Edit before the slime Nazi sees it LOL

But I put 100ml of the stuff in each of my tubes. Cannot say if it helps as I've never had a puncture - done 300km since the slime.

It always amazes me when people say "I've never had a puncture while using XYZ". Offcoarse you have, you just don't know about it because the stuff does the job. You might never had the need to replace a tube, but flats have been plenty. Remove your tyre and you will see all the slime that has leaked out of the tube and for that reason you need to top up and not for the reason of it drying up.
