Daryl Impey interview on Super Cycling tonight

Ja, I guess we're all entitled to an opinion.

If you read my post properly you will see my point was about Maclean debating with Daryl and not about the incident.

The twat caused the accident simple as that ' date=' he should be banned for the maximum allowed !! He almost caused the premature ending to whateverhisname career through his actions ! As somebody else already mentioned a vet klap would also be in order .[/quote']

Why you cycle with a camera?

The idea was to have a debate on this awful incident.

 

We all agree that Bos was 100% at fault and should never have taken his hands off the handle bars! [uCI rules]

 

 

 

The debate is; Lots of people feel he crashed Daryl on purpose. I too felt Bos crashed him on purpose the first 3 or 4 times I watched the incident.

 

 

 

My opinion [and only my opinion] is that he was guilty of causing a crash but did not pull Daryl down in front of himself on purpose.

 

My reason being nobody [not even fearless sprinters] crash themselves on purpose.

 

I think, again just my opinion, is the bunch moved over to the left, the barriers on Bos?s left were close he took his hand off to move/push/ grab or brace himself on Daryl, his front wheel hit a leg of the Barriers, almost stopped him immediately, he held on tight to Daryl bringing Daryl down and across in front of him.

 

My opinion; He did not crash Daryl on purpose

 

Bos was 100% in the wrong for taking is hands off the handle bars.

 

If I were Daryl I most certainly would be very upset and want the UCI to impose some sort of penalty.

 

 

 

This is just how I see and interpret the incident, I certainly don?t think this is the only way of seeing it.

 

Because my opinion differs to some others we decided to have a debate in studio on this terrible incident, and also just to catch up with one of if not the nicest guys on a Bike.

This was one of the better interviews and discussions. AM had a valid opinion and TI handled it really well. As for Bos he should face the consequences.

I thought last nites show was great and well done to the presenters to get Daryl in and discuss this issue. Well done to Daryl as well showing a great attitude and just being prepared to move on and do his best.

 

I hope we get some clarity when the official investigation takes place, this week I think.
