If I read that Delta has said in this thread, then the rep should be drawn and quartered for being a prize tjop! The fact that Specialized have made a business decision (the merits of which have been discussed here) does not mean the rep should shoot his mouth off to the LBS staff. Still, since you deal with the suppliers I'm sure you know who in a more senior capacity to take it up with as well, or further if need be?Just thinking, you might have a better resolution as a shop owner that way, rather than hoping someone senior reads the forums all day. Gasping Posted July 3, 2009 Share Hillel, I think the service you get depends on a number of factors: (i) Your relationship with your LBS(ii) Your LBS relationship with the Rep(iii) The Rep's relationship with his manager. Cassie Posted July 3, 2009 Share This is all the Rep's fault. Reps are supposed to be "ambassadors" for the brand which they promote....and now throught he action(s) of one rep, the brand suffers! DH, I would get on the honker and call as high up as possible and give 'em a piece of your mind....in these day and age one cannot afford to get a bad reputation though some crappy employees' fault!! Personally, I'm thinking the rep himself was shooting his mouth off because he himself has to pay for fuel & transport costs to "service" his client....so, sales commissions are bad for him and now HE is bitching about having to service your shop...
