Ok so roughly

1 Outsurance R350/month, fixed Excess of R460

2 CycleSure R290/month, 5% Excess of Claim, Min R250 plus wheels extra 10%

3 PedalCare +-R270/month, 10% Excess of Claim

I was seriously considering Cyclesure as Outsurances 1st Quote was R408/Month now R350. They seem to cover everything like Cyclesure so where do I go???

Thanks for the help in advance...

Any comments welcome

Call indwe Risk... they have a cycle section too.

R100 less than your current selection above. 021 914 0732 ask for Shumi.

Who are they never heard of them???Im afraid of small companies that I have never heard of before

To me Cyclesure is the one written on quality insurance paper!!! Going direct is like schtumming without latex....fun but Caveat Emptor!! Don't know who writes Pedal Care insurance so cannot comment!

Indwe are a big company. They underwrite with Santam. They used to be called Prestasi.

I have had a few claims with them and they are awesome, I recently sent my household policy to a few companies to try and match - they couldn't come close.

Like I've said, no claim yet. Everything was recorded and I was assured that I get a set access, no increase for 12 months and it is comprehensive, so all is insured.

Trouble usually starts when the claims start, so let's wait and see. Oh, and please, I didn't say you must go with OS!! Do what you feel is right!

They cover my wifes business. Not impressed with them as we tried to claim flood damage from them - they told us "No, claim from landlord first and if unsuccessful then put a claim with them - should take a couple of weeks"

Useless as my wifes salons hairdryers where all damaged (R10k) and she had to have new ones the next morning. Needless to say I spent the whole night drying and repairing her equipment. One by one they have blown and been replaced.

So Indwe Risk are a risk!!!

I'm going with Cyclesure, really impressed with speed of 24hr response for quote - its a Cape thing when someone can get back to you in within a week!!!
