***' date=' verstaan jy nie, die reel is duidelik voor jy begin nog ry...

Waarom moet iemand jou nou eers WEEEEEEER waarsku terwyl jy ry,... Is jy dom of net eenvoudig dof?

Wat verstaan jy nie van "MOET NIE OOR DIE WITLYN RY" ?[/quote']Popeye, that's not the problem.

you're told "you crossed the line, you're dq'd"

you ask "where?"

...the comm goes "we can't tell you"

you ask "I want to see the report"

comm goes "we don't do a race report"

you ask "but CSA rules says you need to have a report"

comm goes "PPA told us to enforce the rule"

you go "PPA, please tell me where I went over the line?"

PPA "ask the comm"

..and it goes around and around...

When I get dq'd, for whatever reason, I want to know WHERE and WHEN it happened. The issue is not the breaking of the rule, but that no-one can prove WHERE the riders broke the rule!Angry

yeah, it's kinda like getting a speeding ticked Pops, you have the option to go in and look at the photo cuz you knever know, it might have been your wife driving your car. You not going to just pay the ticket if you damn well know you did not speed or you just can't remember so you get the little photo and that's your proof, now cyclists just wants the same kinda proof, well some kinda proof, any proof..

yesss, I know and I told you I only saw one guy crossing the white line, think it was nr.28 in the SV bunch. Orca, I don't know why the DQ'ef you, cuz are are also mostly at the back or on your own. As for NiteRider, he was having a chilled race aswell and was sitting at the back almost all the time so don't know how they have him crossing the line...really weird, but ok, if the rule is that you also not allowed to cross the white line on that part running thru the houses, well that's just stupid cuz those roads were not very wide and we all cut the corners on those...

Maybe PPA should just randomly appoint comms in the groups, lets say 5ppl per group, think this wil work, if 2 or more give the same number going over the line that number gets DQ'ed??Thumbs%20Up

Actually only two. I quit the committee two weeks before the race. Only Icycling and WorcesterWheelers in the SV group still serve on the committee.

Man, Committee members are worth bogger all. You know what they do at these meetings, if lets say Poison confronts PPA or who ever there and they sense that she/he or it is angry and have a few good points they make you a Committee member to shut you up cuz ones you are a member your words falls on death ears cuz now it has to go thu all the stupid channels, it's a WASTE of freaken time and nothign gets done that way!

Committee members do it for NO pay, and NO reward. We even have to pay for our own food at a meeting. There were a lot of good ideas on the committee when I served, and some good came out of it. Unfortunately when it came to implementing certain of the agreed proposals exactly the opposite happened, and then the committee members like myself were blamed, when we were on the riders side, not on PPA/CSA/comm/<insert relevant faction> side.

I didn't agree with the way certain decisions were made, and decided that I would rather step down and leave it to those that are passionate enough not to get personally involved than continue and be questioned around every corner why decisions were made regarding the league by the committee when in fact we didn't make it. It got personal for me, and I stepped down because of those personal reasons (and the fact I might move to Jhb during the course of the year)...

So Marius, there is a vacant spot on the committee for the next 6 months, and I'm sure they'll value your input...or is it easier to just be a critic?

ag fatty, they clip your balls when you "join" then, f*ck that, then you have to dance to there little tune, I'm not falling into that trap and glad to see Poison is staying out of it as well.

The idea that you can change anything when you join them is a joke and they'll say one thing and then do something else cuz the "powers that be wills it so" and politics dictates what happens, they guy with the most toys has the most power and has the final say no matter what fatty-who?? thinks or say.
