Dont touch hi low screws if the its not touching spokes or rubbing the front der. Use the barrel adjusters,.And lube the cables ,it helpsSmile

Fine tuning the barrel adjuster per gear I believe is the way.......

 

 

 

but you have 2 of them. One on the derailleur for big adjustments and one on the shifters for small on the fly adjustments.

you fine tune your shifting like this:

 

Walk up to your bike and hold the back of the bike up. Then Look at the derailluer and repeat after me:

 

"Hey jy my Derialluer hows iot my bru. You working befok today jong"

 

Replace  rear of bike on the ground and go ride.

 

Surprisingly it will work.

You dont state whether its  front or rear that needs adjustment, the method differs, I find adjusting the front a real pain.

I have a problem shifting to an lower gear on my rear deraluer.
